The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Study

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a common and debilitating condition that significantly impacts quality of life and daily functioning. This research project explores the feasibility of using low-intensity transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation (TUS) as a novel, non-invasive intervention for OCD. We aim to investigate whether TUS can lead to changes in brain activity, as measured by fMRI, and to explore potential changes in clinical symptoms. This research will help determine whether TUS holds promise as a future therapeutic approach for OCD.
